Healing with EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR) is a powerful psychological therapy which was originally developed for use with people who had experienced upsetting, distressing and traumatic life events.

EMDR is proven to be an effective treatment method for Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) as recognised by NICE. EMDR uses dual attention stimuli (methods used can include right - left eye tracking, alternating hand taps, audio tones delivered to each ear) to help process or "unblock” upsetting memories, bringing about change and recovery.

There is now increasing evidence to show EMDR to be effective in the treatment of a variety of psychological problems including anxiety based difficulties.
